Special Events

Along with 4 periods a day of riding/horse care and one period of traditional camp activity, campers at Bryn Mawr Horseback Riding Camp have the opportunity to participate in a variety of horse-related Special Events. Below is a listing of some of the Special Events your camper might participate in:

Horse-Related Special Events

Special events at equestrian horseback riding camp in Pennsylvania

Horse Show: Riders compete against other Riding Camp campers in a variety of divisions. Each division (from beginner to advanced) consists of equitation on the flat, as well as two over-fences classes.

Equine Beauty Contest: Riders split into groups to “beautify” their favorite horse with paint, beads, ribbons, feathers, etc. They create a new name and story for their decorated steed, which they share during the beauty parade.

Three-Day Event: Campers compete in dressage, cross country, and show jumping over the course of the traditional Three-Day Event schedule.

Polo Ball: It’s baseball with an equestrian twist! Our campers compete and use barn supplies such as pitchforks and polo wraps to lead their team to victory.
